ADB supports the Development of States in India by committing 10 Billion
ADB has committed the USD 10 billion for infrastructure building support to the immediate development of less-developed States in India. Asian Development Bank President agreed to meet the immediate critical infrastructure needs of undeveloped states over a period of five years. The states include Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd (KHI) of Japan has made an agreement for manufacturing of meters stainless steel coaches and bogies. KHI will manufacture heavy equipment/products. Kawasaki Rolling Stock Company will supply EMU (Metro/Commuter) train sets to various countries like US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan.

From six Muslim Countries, the United States of America has issued a New Visa Criteria. The countries like Iraq, Somalia, Iran, Libya, Yemen, Syria, and Sudan. According to the new rules, applicants from these countries must prove a relationship with families in the United States of America.

Union Government launched a New Hydrocarbon licensing regime
Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Petroleum Minister has introduced a new oil and gas block licensing policy. For exploration and production activities, the new regime is expected to open up 2.8 million square km of sedimentary basins.
